In this section we share a video production matrix. Another very useful resource is Engineering’s Developing Video Content website.

Note that for the ratio of video length to production time provided here are low estimates. In other words, if adequately prepared, a quick webcam video may take 10 minutes to record and it may be placed online in as little as 30 minutes (with maybe a quick edit and render before being placed online). It may also take longer if it is recorded without much preparation and deeper edits and audio clean up are needed.

Times will also vary according to the experience of the instructor and/or video production team. As you get more experienced you will find the ratio will decrease.
